Looks like some details have been released. Three models. No manual gearbox on any of them them?!?!? Yeeeshh. I'm not excited anymore.

Well at least they are sending the power to the proper end of the car, and although I too would prefer a stick shift manual, I wouldn't write it off just because of the automatic with out driving it first.
If the engine is basically a bigger version of the 1.4 Abarth engine, that would be a very good thing.
Looks like this leaked info is coming true. All ATX on the gas engines save for the top of the line version. Disappointing for sure, but I'm not all that surprised.
Disappointed it won't come in a stick, too. But when journalists say this:
Even the lower rungs of the Giulia range have a sporty demeanor. Standard features include a seven-inch driver info display between the analog gauges, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and keyless start. Depending on model, they come with either a 6.5-inch or 8.8-inch widescreen infotainment system, which uses a rotary dial in the center console for the controls.
What of those options above defines it as "sporty"?
I like the looks. I like the RWD part. If I was in the market for a smaller sedan, it'd be on my list. I'm just guessing that they feel they're on the same playing field (because european and will price it in BMW/Mercedes territory instead of Jetta/Camry/Accord territory.

If they are going to bring it over they better do it quick. I don't think Fiat dealers can hang on much longer with just variations of the 500 and a 124 which hasn't arrived yet either.
1kris06, I recognize that screen.

My list was not identical to that when I checked it.
