I don't see a massive blow-off valve. I've seen post-blower throtttle body setups take apart intercoolers even with one.
But boy, do non-throttled superchargers scream. Literally.
Might be someone who pulled the pics from that thread and is trying to pass it off as their own for reddit karma. Happens all the time.

I am, but it wasn't me. I did see that post and thought, neat they used the same Mercedes clutched supercharger I wanted to use on my 924.

It has a clutch on it, so you could potentially avoid some of those issues with controlling the clutch via relay and the ECU.

A different belt tensioner was used, I immediately researched to see if it was lifted.
