mk1 Cabby has a bad fuel sending unit and I can't find any for sale. No parts/donor cars in my area either. Is there any Chinese secret about these? Would not be opposed to making a totally new fuel delivery system for the vehicle if that would work better.
It's probably easiest to adapt some other fuel sending unit (ideally from a common car, but a generic race car sending unit would be easier if more expensive) with similar electrical properties.
