I seem to stupid to find this. Specifically for t2 front 4 piston calipers. I used the Russell Brake Adapter Fittings 641431 which is m10 x1 and its the same pitch/threads/dia/etc but the metric male inverted flare end is too long and bottoms out. I don't think I can just run 2 washers or I would have to find very thick crush washers for this application.

Anyone know of another brand to try or place/suggestion?

I was wondering if I could omit the hard line portion coming from the caliper so I had one less leak/fatigue point

What does the male inverted part thread into? Directly into the caliper? I would think you would only have issues if it was too short and the end didn't seal. If it is too long it should seal on the flare end but you would just have more threads showing.

One can run single piston FC brake lines on those calipers, which omits the hard line portion. I've done it and it works great. I believe it's a flare in the caliper, omitting the crush washers, so no worries about fittings bottoming out, but I could be way off, as that was years ago.

thats exactly the issue, the flare seals but the extra threads are showing, is this okay?

Yes, inverted flare will only seal at the flare at the end. There is no sealing done at the base of the threads (by the hex). Same with the 37° flare on the other end.

It will only seal with a washer at the base of the threads if the end is flat instead of flared and straight thread (not pipe thread).

That is assuming the caliper has the inverted flare seat and didn't originally use a different type of fitting (banjo).

In reply to EvanB:

The caliper does have the inverted flare seat. I just felt uncomfortable with the threads showing...

I guess I never tossed the lines on and checked for leaks though...
