We have been experiencing temperatures in the high 90s for the last two weeks. Today was 99, last Saturday and Sunday were both over 100 on my back porch. Needless to say, outside work moves at a crawl when temps get that high. I'm well insulated for cold weather, but the neighbors get a little flaky if I get comfortable when it's hot.

Tomorrow's high? 82. Much progress will happen.

That is all.

In SoCal we're entering our first heatwave, 80s at the beach to 110+ in the desert. Glad I installed a mini split air conditioner. Mini splits are widely used in other parts of the world but are only now entering the market in the US. Because of that, many AC techs charge out to wazoo for installation.

I've installed 4 of them myself over the last 8 years. They really aren't hard to do. That's what I use in my shop. They are wonderful machines.

My parents are in Montreal on their boat. Mom has been complaining about the cold since they got there.

I would pack up and leave. I would seriously pass out from temps like that. My fat ass just can't get rid of the heat fast enough.

The heat index as of this afternoon, and the last few days, has been the highest right here in OK.

115° heat index in Tulsa right now, 119° in Pryor (just outside of TUlsa).

This is what happens when it's 99° + a TON humidity.

Today was 95 with 80-100% humidity. I forgot to check the index but the national weather service chart said felt like...140. Wtf. And i work in a hot ass warehouse so i get no relief. Thank god its supposed to be in the 70s and 80s this weekend. Ive GOT to get out of the sweaty ballsack of the south. Glad im moving to cooler weather in 6 weeks.

When I lived in Houston I learned that the relative humidity can go higher than 100%.

95* and 103% relative humidity is just wrong

120 Sunday

Monday too apparently. After working a 10hr shift, trying to get to school in stop & go traffic on the 60 with inop a/c will be lots of fun.

I'll be a delirious half conscious sweaty mess - yay!!

That heat wave/front is attempting to work it's way north. However, our cold air is putting up a valiant fight causing Tstorms w/wind, hail and torrential downpours.

Same here, though I don't mind it when it's not compounded by the mid-day sun. I went for a bike ride around 7am and might head out for another one soon.

81 and sunny, with a light breeze and humidity in the 35% range. Perfect autocross weather.

I spent the last 3 days moving with a sinus infection. Across the parking lot, so there was no truck. Lots of carrying. Without the sun, its fine.

I think 110 tomorrow and 114 Sunday, here in the old pueblo, and those poor suckers in Phoenix, 120.

I'll take the dry heat all day everyday as compared to humid places like Houston. Y'all can have that.
