My God, what have I done?
2009 P71. Known back in the day as the other answer. 140K. Headlight needs readjusted.
Same as it ever was.

I'm guessing that's not the original paint?
It is in most places, shockingly.

It was an old joke on the older version of the forums. I think there was a third car in the trifecta... E36 M3? It's been a long time.
The old Trifecta was:
Miata: 2 seat racer
E30: 4 seat racer
P71: 5 seat racer
The old Pentaverate also added:
Chevy Astro for 7 seater and light tow vehicle
Jeep XJ for offroad fun.
What have you done? Clearly, you have embraced your inner Canadian. All those P71s, like all the W-body 9C1s and police Chargers, were built up here. Now go find some real maple syrup, eh?

Thanks, John! I knew someone would remember.

Near where I grew up in Ohio makes some of the best maple syrup around. We're close enough to Lake Erie, so that counts. Oh ya.

Now it just needs some 5-spoke wheels.
Negative, ghost rider... needs the BBS wheels.
In reply to Curtis :
Those work too. I like them in silver, but I also like them with the centers painted black.
I have a set on my car:
Bullitt wheels are still an option though.

the p71 never made it to the trifecta.. nope nope nope..
revisionist history I tell you...
Bullitt Wheels FTW.
I lost way too much knuckle skin on the BBS-type wheels back in the olden days. Can't even look at them without bleeding.

Bullit wheels make everything look better!
the anti P71 arguement into the trifecta goes back years.. I will not give up.
also.. Jordan.. your new car is a nice color. it needs 100% more nitrous.
The Xj, E30 and Miata were the trifecta apparently.

It's so weird reading an old thread like that and seeing familiar avatars with slightly different names.
