Is that or is that not the same face?
Sort of, but I like it. I'm glad it doesn't have the "snake bite teeth" (radiator louver sides) of the Focus.
Of course, this ISN'T the version that we are getting. The ST for the US is on Ford's website.

Dang I think the normal Fiesta looks better then the American ST. Why couldn't they have left the Euro bumper on it?

Why do car companies do that to us EVERY damn time?

Becuase "we" (defined as the American new-car-buying public) continually make it more profitable for automakers when they do so.

Explain to me how making an entirely new front fascia just for us makes them more money?
In reply to 93EXCivic:
Because the bumpers are similar I have a feeling that in this case it probably has something to do with a FMVSS standard or the like. In other cases I have no idea.

Because they get to sell us the better looking front fascia through European aftermarket parts suppliers.

The Euro design is changing in 2014 MY, too (which is the same time you'll see the "American" ST above).
Ford has had pretty boring styling for years, with a few exceptions. The Euro car looks great. The U.S. version looks great from the front axle centerline back. The front end looks like a catfish with eye-liner. I mean, they even messed up the headlights!

Because they sell more of them if they look more "American" and not so "European".
You should see the E36 M3-fits on the Mustang boards about the '14.5/'15 redesign taking on more European styling cues as per the rest of the Ford car line.

So will the Euro version have the same face as ours?
sigh...
again, the 2014 Euro Fiesta will be the same looking car as the 2014 US Focus. Outside of detials due to country light changes. The car that is picture in original post goes away in 2014 and is replaced by the one with the single opening in the front.
I can post that a few times if you don't get it some more.
Then again, Top Gear was complaining that they didn't get the US version of their Mondeo, since they like the same front design feature that so many of you seem to hate. Must be something about what you "can't" get....

Or the US version will have the same face as the Euro version- however you want to look at it.
A 5 second Google search will save you hours of anguish of a car that many of you will not likely be buying.....

I have been searching for details on the 2014 Ecoboost Fiesta since it is one of two cars I am considering. I guess I misundersood the articles. I hadn't really looked at the ST though. May go after one though depending on the cost of it compared to the Ecoboost. When do you manufactures usually release official information on the MY '14 models?
