Somehow several years after it being released, I've just been made aware of it today. It pretty much looking to be a digital modernized version of slot car racing with the cars controlled via an app on your phone or tablet. Does anyone on here have it? It's a shame that the cars don't look to be moddable
The app was a problematic trash heap and the company went out of business. Slot cars don't need WiFi to the cloud to work.
Interesting concept, terrible execution.
We got an Anki set for the kids a while back. They played with it for a while. Then they stopped. I haven't seen the things in years. Overpriced. Seemed buggy.
Yep. Xmas present for my son last year. Played with for about a week, collecting dust since.

No, they don't need it. But if done right it sure can help. At least with Carrera Digital.
