The talk of a BMW MOKE (I guess that would be BOKE for those that call MINI's BINI's) got me thinking. What if they started with a Jeep Wrangler and turned that into a BOKE - what would they have to change?

Seems to me they could get rid of the signature Jeep 7 slat grill and put on a grouper like version of a Moke grill and call it good.

I will patiently wait for the photoshoppers out there to do their thing - make us a BOKE!

I was thinking they should change the headlights and call it a BMW X1 but upon a quick google search, one of those has already been designed for 2010.

Well, like it or not any car company that wants to grow beyond a niche market needs an SUV/Crossover/AWD Wagon. If Mini sticks with 1 (or 1.2 for the Clubby) little box for their complete product line, they're destined to fail in the long run when the novelty wears out. Porsche knew it, so did BMW. I say bring it.

Hmm, actually, i kinda of like it.. reminds me of a hot wheels fantasy car or something, just much uglier, maybe a Chinese new year float?? paint it in scales and give it big teeth?? I could have fun with one., especially if they put the bmw 3.0 twin turbo diesel in it (something like 280 hp!), might actually have some performance in it. then again, im sure that would make too much sense. And probably outprice itself as well... not adding this to my list just yet, the package doesnt make sense so far, time will tell i suppose...
