I am the designated bath-giver for my daughter Alexandra. As we walk upstairs for bathtime she first runs into my bedroom to select a magazine out of a bookshelf. I have years of issues of about 4 or 5 magazines there, mostly automotive-related. She always picks a GRM (never picks Classic Motorsports, oddly). Then she insists on "reading" the entire thing while the tob fills, and won't get in until she has looked at every page....
Unfortunately, tonight she also found an old Car&Driver sitting inside the bathroom cabinet, which she handed to me and said "daddy, you read this," while she read the GRM. I told her that wasn't a very nice thing to do.
selecting some safety gear and reading about a subie build. Good girl.

hmm.... Whatever....she just likes yellow better than red, I'm sure

100% chance I will show this quote to my wife, lol...
My hat is off to you sir. Your are doing a great job.
Kids have to learn the difference between good and bad, but you should either hide the Car and Driver's better, or get rid of them altogether.
Your daughter is too precious and too young to exposed to that kind of stuff.

hah....my wife bought me like a 10-year subscription to C&D years ago as part of some charity event, so they've come like clockwork ever since....I occasionally find an article worth reading, but get thorougly annoyed by the lame commentary and excessive advertisements and never make it all the way thorugh before tossing it. Meanwhile, I've probably read all of my GRMs multiple times and actually keep them. Lexy likes the C&D for two reasons
1. the paper they're made with it thin and wimpy and she likes crumpling it up and dancing on it. (really)
2. they have alot of the order/renewal cards in them, which she likes to tear out (of any magazine, for that matter).
Meanwhile, she'll actually "read" the GRMs with respect since they're printed on more substantial paper so she thinks they are a "book" - and we've always made her respect books and not tear them or abuse them.
Lesley - Margie in training?

Cool. Glad that the whole family is getting enjoyment from the mags.
I bought a motortrend magazine the other day, of course all of the photos were blurry and the magazine fell apart in my hands, literally, the pages started coming apart from the glue that holds the binding together.
Way to go, start 'em young.
Really cute kid, BTW.
