What is a 100% stock awd turbo eclipse worth? It's a 90 with 160k, 5sp. Looks pretty nice, no obvious rust or damage. It's been 10 years since I've payed attention to DSM stuff, IDK what they go for these days. I would imagine a stock example in good shape would be pretty rare now.

90? 3 bolt rear, 6 bolt crank but it's the less desirable build of the 6 bolts- 160k all stock you say? I might pay 3k or so for it if it's not all beat to E36 M3 and it's clean. IIRC there was something about the 90's that made em a little goofy compared to the 91-92a cars that made em less user friendly, but it's been at least a decade for me too, so I'm a bit rusty.
Yea there are a few differences between the 90 and the 91+ cars. Some electrical sensor/harness and ECU differences, t-case splines count, external oil cooler vs coolant sandwich, nothing major. Value would depend on how clean, maintenance history, etc. That's got a few miles on it, could be in need of a clutch, turbo, rear main seal, who knows. $1500 - $3k? More if it's really nice maybe.
It could be a 91, I don't remember. I just know it had flip up headlights. Did the 4 bolt rear show up in 91?

Late 1991 to early 1992. I believe (again my brain is a bit off on my DSM history) the holy grail is a pre june build date 1992- should be a 6/4 flip up combo- those are the jam. Even better if it's somehow a Laser RS- because they didn't get all the extra body cladding and looked the same as the base model.
Also, damn you for asking if there was DSM people in here. My wife had previously banned me from dragging one home ever again (she hated my 95) and I'd JUST found a loophole in her ban. And then forgot because I still want to build a time attack truck out of a b2200. And now you bring up DSMs and I forget how much I wanted a 1Ga Laser RS.

Yep... that thing was incredible.
FWIW, a buddy of mine just sold a mint 1990 Talon TSi AWD for $8k... Mind you, the car was (very well) built and upgraded in every aspect while retaining many of its original creature comforts. Ads were barely up for two weeks. He had atleast two serious local buyers lined up in no time, among a sea of out of state inquiries. I also have a buddy who got $4k from someone to completely eradicate his garage of anything related to DSM's. The collection didn't even include a streetable car... He got that much for a decent looking Auto AWD 1G shell, a complete but totaled mostly stock Auto AWG 1G and various stock and aftermarket parts.
That being said, depending on how "nice" it is, I'd shoot for $3-5k.
I've owned my DSM's for over 10 years, but I'm just now getting back into them after letting them sit for most of the past 6/7 years. I'm amazed at what people are asking for "decent" and not so molested 1G AWD cars. I remember back when a clean example could be had for right around $2k. Hell, I had a buddy that owned atleast 150 mostly turbo DSM's back then... Now I see questionable cars being with prices of $3500 or more. In a way, I guess that's a good thing, otherwise I'd be parking another one behind my garage every other paycheck....
Remember: how much it will cost is inversely proportional to how beat it is. A ragged $3,000 DSM will cost $3000 to make run, were as a $4,500 clean example will cost only $1,500 to make nice.
10 years ago, like others said, you could get a crazy clean car for next to nothing. Now that the ragged ones have mostly rotted away, those deals are getting harder to find.
I also long for a 1GA FWD turbo car.
I've been keeping my eye out for another. There are still a lot of nice ones out there, but their owners are keeping them. I know quite a few people who bought theirs new, and they are not selling. Most of the ones out there on Craigslist are ether beat, or the sellers way overestimate the value of their mods. Or both. My wife actually found a stock '90 AWD that ran at a tow yard lien sale. She tried to buy it for me for $800, but someone beat her to it. Don't worry too much about the year- in my opinion, there really isn't a best year. It depends on what you want. I personally like the looks of the '90-'91 with pop ups. Adding a 4 bolt rear is easy, and they are not uncommon in junk yards now. '92 has the best stock drivetrain. '93-'94 have the "weaker" motors, that are still plenty strong. Unless you are building a big turbo drag car, you will have a hard time breaking that motor. They also make a bit more power then the early motors in the same state of tune, due to the lighter rotating assembly (and slightly better stock cams?) They are also usually cheaper too. Anyway, mechanical bits are easy to mix and match. Pick the style you like, then get the best one you can find. Also, it could depend on the area where you live. Here where we have smog checks, there are a lot of owners who make their cars pretty much unsmoggable, and therefore unsellable. These cars can be bought for a good deal if you are willing and able to get it back to smog check passing condition, or take it somewhere that doesn't have smog checks.
