I have an 05 V6 Accord sedan with the auto with 225k on it- mostly highway miles- and other than going through rear brakes more often that I would think, has been pretty much bulletproof. Handed this one down to my daughter when I picked up a used '12 similar V6 Accord automatic sedan. The 'new' one has 125k on it now and so far has been solid.
Both knock down 25-29 mpg on the highway and quiet/ride pretty well for the appliances they are.
If you want a manual, I would probably try to find a TL of the same vintage which is mostly the same car but some had some bigger front brakes- Type S..
