Saw someone use those on a 300hp turbo rotary Miata on stock wheels, stock suspension stock brakes. He went into the wall at an autocross. That's the only time I've seen those tires. YMMV.
Lets hope my mileage would vary 
I ran them on my Passat for a while. They did well for a cheap tire. Owned the snow, railed the Tail of the Dragon, ate up a few road trips and even a few autocrosses. Got pretty noisy at 30K miles. Brother still has them on the back of his FWD Passat and they're holding up fine. Just louder than some tires at this point.
Aren't they made by michelin?
