Also, I'll mention that I'm far from stock:

multiple sets of wheels, 06-07 4-pots, biger front and rear sways, bilsteins, RCE 330# springs front and rear, poly bushings in some locations, stage 1 tune, SPT catback, and various other things. Engine is stock aside from a light tune, drivetrain is totally stock, with no issues at 65k miles of hard use. I don't drive like gramma, and car has ~30 autocrosses on it as well.

The car in stock form is a bit sloppy for my tastes, but nothing some mild suspension mods can't take care of. I dont' leave cars stock anyhow, so I care little about stock suspension

The car was pretty much stock and I had all these issues. I can't imagine what would happen if I started to really mod it like I did with my 2002. I had 50,000+ miles of modded use on that car, with an upgraded exhaust, different ECU tune for more boost, upgraded struts and springs, upgraded brakes, etc. The only issues I had with that car were a harmonic rear diff noise (there's a recall on this) and the cold weather fuel line leak (also recalled).

Tell me more about the harmonic rear diff noise. My 02 makes a noise that I can't track down. Sounds like it's coming from the rear. I thought maybe it was wheel bearings but those were fine. Brakes are new. It gets louder at speed and non existent went stopped. I hope that's it...

The harmonic diff noise would start at exactly 62mph. It had something to do with the axle housing resonating with the car. It got worse once I did the rear dog bone bushings, and I could hear it over my really loud exhaust. There was a TSB on it that instructed techs to install these little rubber dangly things off of the housing that absorb the vibrations. I never had it performed, but I did install a subwoofer to help drown out the noise.

The '06 and '07 have that sort of Subaru Tribeca (pig's snout?) front end...is that enough character for ya?

Subarus have never known to be lookers, well, except for the GC-chassis 22B.... DROOL....

They remind me of a pseudo-Japanese take on the E30 M3. Truly awesome looking (and performing) cars. Too bad we never got them here.
