Anyone got anything to report? how are our own resident GRM rallyists doing?

The Nonack's posted this.
They hit a snow bank & a Fiesta hit them, but apparently no substantial damage.
Live scoring shows them on stage and the engine running. It's the last stage. Thundering along at 41 MPH, must be really slippery.
I've talked to a few people competing and the general consensus is that it's a E36 M3show and the 2wd crew in particular are not enjoying themselves much. Apparently the stage were 15 cars got stuck was requested by the competitors to be skipped (for fear of that happening) and the organizers said no....and what they tought was going to happen is exactly what happened.
One AWD team I know withdrew halfway through because of conditions and general dislike of the way it was going (car was still fine).
As to the GRM folks...I heard that Nonack and Downey in particular have had to get out and push several times/get tows/gotten stuck on glazed uphills
I had been planning to go at one point, but happy I didn't....
I'm sure Chris and others who are actually there will chime in.
That's Downey on the left....a former instructor at Team O who has dozens or more rally days on snow/ice. He said he's been running in 5th gear all day just trying to keep traction going 20mph....
Chris and Sara finished 2nd in Limited 2WD (Regional).
The BMW crew collectively finished dead berkeleying last....but at least they finished above SRT!

Highest speed I happened to catch on the last two stages was a Subaru at 48 MPH, so it must have been pretty ugly.

I'd bet that was Kramer.....man, he loves that event and is awesome in the slippery stuff. Plus he has the H6 in that GC now, so he can go faster ;)
Dirtfish is saying Semenuk averaged 35.9 MPH over the first six stages where Pastrana did 65.6 in the same car last year , and last year it was more ice than snow !
