Any self admitted automotive hoarders amongst us?
What's the greatest # of vehicles you've ever had on your property at once?
Now I'm not talking about commercial properties zoned for auto lots / junkyards,.... but at your own house, back yard, back field, hidden in the woods, illegal junkyard style, etc. With the rise of property regulations, and the industrial commercialization of modern salvage yard operations, combined with the value of scrap... it seems the backyard car collection is a dying breed.
A friend of mine has 10 acres, with probably 40-50 cars at the back 2 acres of property hidden in the woods from any roads. Earnhardt Jr. reportedly has 50-60 crashed race cars randomly on his property (Earnhardt Jr. collection) There's got to be more of you out there.
Somebody here has a field of (broken) dreams in the Florida swamps, I've seen pics a couple of times.
Me, only 3. Today I also broke a record for most cars not running, at 3.

Methinks aussiesmg might have us all beat by the cars he currently has on his property.
My old roommate is from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, I'm pretty sure he has about twenty 200-400 dollar cars up there hidden across various barns and misc places on their property up there.
I have 24 right now, plus motorcycles, snowmobiles and go-carts, but mostly because I have most of my Dad's stuff now that he's gone.
Anyone want to buy a Dodge pickup?
Parked at the house I live in, I generally have 2 vehicles plus a canoe. (note...this doesn't count the girlsfriend's car and canoe)
Parked at the house I'm renovating, I currenlty have 3 complete vehicles, plus 3 trailers (one just showed up this weekend...a horse trailer for the girlfriend's horse), a Boat (with trailer), and a couple of flatbeds that will later go on trucks.
At one friend's house I have 2 complete cars, 1 motorcycle, 1 boat, another trailer, and one rolling chassis
At another friend's house (more commonly known as the Back 40) I have 2 4x4s, 2 cars, and a bunch of other crap I should take responsibility for.
When we buy land, this mess will get consolidated and continue to grow steadily.

I've got 7 presently all enclosed....theres a place near me that used to have 40 or so bar of soap falcons sitting at it. I cried when I saw them being hauled away for scrap.
There is a similar place here in Muncie though, appears to be over 100 "vintage" vehicles outside of a former industrial factory. IDK who owns the place, but I have never seen anyone there
Most I've had at any one time is 8. All Italian (4 Fiats and 4 Alfas).

We have at least 30 cars and motorcycles now. We have 10 acres. I keep most of the nice stuff inside, but have run out of space, so some things are sitting out under covers that I would prefer to be indoors. Currently getting quotes on a new 50x60, so I can get the rest of the stuff outside in.
I felt it was bad enough that I have 2 cars, a fullsize truck, a 20' car hauler trailer and I rent.
My wife would say I'm a car hoarder, or maybe a junk car collector, but I think I may use this thread to convince her that 7 or 8 cars, a tractor, a motorcycle and a few go karts isn't too bad.

Oh and as for me, six if you include the cart. One of them is in a barn and another on The Back 40. I can't have any unlicensed vehicles in my driveway. Damn city ordinances.

I used to have a wife like that too.
Just sayin'

Jr. ... phhtttt! You don't give me near enough credit, lol
My personal best was 3 cars and a motorcycle in townhouse with a single car driveway, single car garage, and overflow parking lot.
The condo corp didn't like me very much.
I have had three Spitfires on site. One finally went to the scrap yard after getting gutted. The '64 is in the garage and is the driver. The '80 has been sitting in the driveway under a tarp awaiting to get off my duff and stick the rebuilt motor in it.

Your asking price is too high.
Anybody know the identity of the tube-framed buggy/rail visible on the far side of the blue Volvo in the first post?
I currently have six cars, three motorcycles, and a scooter at my house, two cars, three or four motorcycles, and a scooter at a friends house, two cars at work, and one more car at another friend's house.

I have 5 onsite and a 6th in a barn in Monticello- along with (apparently) now a seventh that Ben is getting for me.
My friends all think I do, with 7 plus the Triumph in the yard right now... my wife has been suggesting she wants to rent me some garage space though, so I may actually have a problem
She doesn't know I've committed to (re)purchase the eighth shortly

Back 80?
Oh...that would be sweet. If you'd give me more credit...maybe I could buy that much, lol.
The most at one time would be 12 cars/ trucks and a 18' open trailer on 0.65 acers. I am doing better now as I am now down to five cars/trucks and the 18' trailer. Anyone looking for a Ford rollback 460V8? And who had the dodge truck forsale?

(Edit: And two motorcycles)
