I was about to say something snarky about the guy not getting to keep his trophies..and then noticed it was an Estate Sale. RIP, bro..looks like you had some great times.
This auction might be worth the drive down to check out just for the fun of it. Doubt I could afford to buy a dixie cup from them but wow what a collection.

Research first. I've seen some high end auctions have sizable entrance fees to keep out looky-loos.
In reply to Ian F: Sadly you are correct they do sometimes hit you with a few to aquire a bidder number or even more for a catalog of the sale. I am not expecting a Barret Jackson type entrance fee but it's worth a look before making the 3+ hour trip. Maybe I need to find a richish friend to glom onto as their helper so I can slide under the Radar.
I'll take the blue pickup truck and the machine shop portion.
And maybe the yellow Corvette.
Oh, that's $335,000 total, you say? Do you accept payment in beer?

Possibly. I'm just recalling a recent episode of Chasing Classic Cars where Wayne attends a professionally run estate auction that in some ways was similar to this one. There was a shot of him going through the entrance and there was a sign: Entrance fee: $100. Chump change to those bidding on $100K+ cars, but will likely keep out the riff-raff with no money like us.
