AutoX and street won't develop the same kind of heat in the exhaust as track driving... I've had urethane exhaust hangers melt on track with a stock Miata engine.

My Miata came with an AL exhaust. It was an autox car I redid for track days. Melted the exhaust 2nd weekend out in front of the cat. That was after it looked like it farted out a squirrel because all the muffler packing blew out the tailpipe. I had to piece together a straight pipe exhaust to finish the weekend and drive home.
My late grandfather replaced the exhaust on his motor home with 2" copper. The kind used for water services. I don't recall it melting, ever. It was probably pretty heavy, that was a long run to the back. He owned a construction company that put in water and sewer so he had access to plenty of copper

I assume it eventually turned the same color as the Statue of Liberty? Also if a meth-head ever went looking under there, they would've ended up dancing the whole way to the scrap yard with the pipes to this tune
