They seem to have good prices on pretty light wheels. Anyone have any experience with them? And BTW, what is the best offset for 15x7 wheels on an '88 CRX?

A number of members of my Miata club are. They seem rather pleased with them. Email Emilio re: fitment. emilio700@yahoo.com should be his email.
Yeah, I've already talked with him. I was just thinking that the ideal offset for the Honda's is different than Miata's, and he sells the same wheel for both. But maybe I'm wrong.
I had the same 15x7 +43 offset TE37's on my 89 EF and my Miatas and they seemed to fit just as well on both. So, based on my small sample size, I'd say the offsets are pretty close.
They're a very popular wheel in the Miata community and seem to be quite well made. I can't comment on the offset question for Hondas, but Miatas do use a FWD-style offset so it wouldn't surprise me to hear they're appropriate.
TR Motorsport sells both a 15x7 and 15x7.5 with offsets in the +42 range for $89. They're right around 13lbs - heavier than the 949 wheels, but also less expensive.
Note that Clay is talking about Volk wheels, not 949 wheels.

Said Volks are both lighter, and MUCH more expensive. DO WANT.

Oops, I missed the reference to the TE37. Where can I find these $89 wheels?
I'm using 949s on the turbo Miata. They are awesome and light.
Not much help for your study, but I'd reccomend calling Emilio at 949; he's a really nice guy and a terrific resource for determining fitment.
...And they would look AWESOME on your CRX. Especially with the nickel finish.
I have seen people running +12 offset and +40 offset on CRXs so I would think a +36 offset wheel would work.

Ha! The nickel finish was what I was going to get! From Tire Rack's website, wheels for my car vary from +35 to +43 mm offset, so it looks like 36 would work.

They are on Tire Rack.
I found out that in ST I can run up to a 7.5" wide wheel. I already have 205 section tires. Do you guys think going to the 7.5" wide wheel is worth anything? I've run these same 205's on 15x7" wheels without a problem, but I'm buying wheels specifically for autocrossing, and want to get the right stuff. So is .5" a big enough benefit to overcome the additional weight and cost?
In the case of the TR Motorsports C1, the weight difference is 0.5 lbs and the cost difference is $10/wheel. I'd do it.

yes.
Anybody make a cheap light 15x9 for the Miata besides the 6UL? I need more width and my K1s are only 7" wide.
I had them on my 1st gen MR2, 15x8 fit perfect with a slight roll. Good quality, no scratches/damage when I got them.
A truck then t-boned me and hit the front side of the rear wheel, almost no damage to the rim, but the tie rod broke in half! So they are very strong.
I'm currently waiting for my custom spacers to fit them on my E30, should still be lighter than the K1's (plus I already own them..)
Threads like this make me want to retrofit my Neon with 4x100 hardware. Finding nice looking light rims with the 5x100 pattern is more difficult.

That would be the other TR wheel - C3M
$109 15.8lbs per Tirerack
TR Motorsports (which stands for Tire Rack, for those who haven't figured it out) makes 15" wheels in 7, 7.5, 8 and 9" widths. They're not the absolute lightest wheel on the market but they're hard to beat for value. We run the TR variants (all but the 15x8, and that may change soon) and the 949 wheels at Flyin' Miata (15x7.5 and 15x8) along with a few others.
The 6UL is a good wheel, but it's not the cheapest. The TR version above is 3.1 lbs heavier and $80 cheaper even before you consider free mounting and balancing. You choose which is more important to you - choice is good.
