Anyone in the Chicago area willing to drag a car in pieces from Road America back to Chicago?
I have GRM swag, gold bullion and life time subscriptions to whet your appetite for this mid winter insanity.

I'd do it for the swag, but alas- I have no truck, no trailer, and am nowhere near Road America OR Chicago.
In reply to Tim Suddard:
Tim,
What is your time frame? I expect to be relocated from Chicago to Atlanta with a start date sometime in April. I do get a relocation allowance for moving my car but will likely do it myself with a borrowed trailer from the Chicago area. If all goes as planned I would be returning to Chicago empty. The part I am not sure of is when. There are quite a few details that are still not set so if you are in no rush I could probably help.
Scott
I have a trailer, a van, the time and I live just south of Chicago. Been to RA many times. Contact me off this list if interested at: jimbbski@yahoo.com

I have to +1 that.
Even if the recent activity is because your wife made you post here to keep the lunatic fringe from scaring away all the advertisers... I like that the publisher is trying to get a POS from one place to another on the cheap.
Should you ever need to get a pile of crap from somewhere near NEPA to somewhere else near NEPA... I'm your huckleberry. Unless it's a great deal when I get there. Then you have to settle for a build thread :)

I might be able to help......
Guys, it is a small fiberglass body (Spitfire sized) and 100 lb ladder type frame and seven plastic bins full of stuff. There is a dismantled small four cylinder engine that probably weighs 150 pounds as well.
I would be willing to rent the U Haul if needed, but sounds like jimbbski can help me, so I will contact him off list.
Personally, I love to go pick up cars because I like talking with car guys and you never know what else you are going to find. Thanks and love this board.

ok now I'm intrigued as to what project may be brewing from this...
Tim, I'd do it for you but I'm in Michigan. So, if you get someone to drag the car to Michigan, I'll then drag it to Chicago

Berzerkeley II?
How hard would it be to get said car running on things I can find at AutoZone? I could drive it to Florida for you...
