Is the 14+ Imlpala on your list? My wife has one, and it seems to be a decent machine. It's a biiiig mofo, but it's a bit of a weapon from 40 to 80, and gets 31-32 mpg on a highway run in the central PA hills. It doesn't handle bad, and is fairly comfy. I've done 12 hour days in it, and didn't wanna stab myself in the eye with a fork. If I was thinking about a Charger RT, I don't know if it would compete, but I'd probably rather have the Impala than a v-6 Charger, even though it's wrong-wheel-drive.
I think she wants to look at a Caddy XTS for her next car. It's the same as the Impala, but more stuff. And, if she gets the VSport, it's 400 hp, and all wheel drive.
I'm a GM at CarMax. The great thing is that we have virtually everything so you can check them all out and find what you really want. Yes, we are no pressure and accommodate pre shoppers and browsers no problem. However, to be fair, our sales consultants earn their living by selling cars. If you come and spend all day test driving many vehicles, you have just taken away their ability to earn a living that day. Browse all you want - they are all unlocked on the lot - but narrow down your options to the ones you really have interest in before taking a sales consultants time on a test drive. We won't pressure you into anything but be fair.
