Playing with myself is getting old already. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongey and bruised.

In some places $5/gal...... They came and added some to my tank a week ago and were so short they stopped it at 60%. I still loved the local new's reason. "Farmers dried more corn than usual this year" which was pretty much BS(we used less)
I bought a propane heater (Hank Hill voice) just before Christmas, thinking I could work in the garage all winter. I installed new shocks and bumpstops on the Miata, but I can't take it out to see what a difference it made. It's on Star Specs and I doubt I could make it out of my driveway.
This is the first winter that I've actually said that I wish I lived somewhere else. It has been consistently colder and more dreary than any time I can recall. SAD doesn't help.
Yeah this has pretty much been awful. I've also been sick more this winter than i have been in about a decade, work has sucked worse than ever, and none of the cars are cooperating.
I'm down to one running vehicle, that being the Jeep.
Which has a bad heater core. Yay.
I had been biking to work 2-3 days per week, that's 8 miles each way so 32 - 48 miles a week, and felt great doing it. I kept it up until the winter really hit hardcore and the snow started falling. I hate the 1.5 miles or so that I have to ride on a main street to begin with - when there's ice and snow on it I just can't handle riding it. It's too dangerous. Plus temperatures in the teens and below zero don't seem like good biking weather. 29 degrees wasn't too bad, but much below that and I have motivational issues.
So yeah, I've been going stir crazy.
