Anyone going to the Continental/Rolex races Saturday the 5th at Barber? I'm a Barber newb and would like to meet up with any fellow GRMers who could lean me where to go to view, how to get around, etc. and who would like to hang out. I plan to get a garage pass, it was effing great to have at Daytona in January.
I'm up in the (still...) frozen north, but I was there last March to visit the museum, and the place is just stunning. There's not really much you can do wrong at Barber, and the track has a pretty small footprint so you can wander the viewing areas fairly easily to find your favorite. Its also in effect a sculpture park, and the museum is a must go.
Are you just going to see grand-am? Indycars tested there last week and obliterated the track record by about 3 seconds, I wouldn't miss them on Sunday...
