I need to invest in a better camera and less in cheap beer so I can get nice shots too lol, very awesome crowd out there this year!
I'll have my photos uploaded later on. The Monster Busting was absolutely amazing!!! I really liked the old Z on the track, the Turbo 911 with the HUGE wing. I stopped by the GRM Booth and said hello, always good to see you guys supporting such events!
Next year I'm gonna camp at the track so I don't have to drive 4 Hours each way & be at work at 6am Sunday.... I'm gonna be sick next year when it rolls around again ;-)
If I'm still in the area and go next year I'm A) going to be there first thing in the morning or B) come later in the afternoon.
We had a baby issue and managed to get out there at the same time as all the people that wake up at 11am and it took an hour to go a mile into the track.
Found this picture on another forum. It was taken during the LeMons race. And NO it is not photoshopped, check out the shadow on the track.

we ran 16 hours, and you got an awesome photo of every car on course besides ours, lol......

Ah I'm sorry! I tried snapping one of every car. I'll be out at more events now that I realize it's not to much of a drive out there. Plus I'm picking up some new camera gear and maybe a project car.

nah just giving you a hard time.....we have tons of shots of us - one of our drivers' sons is a hardcore photographer type so he came out with all his lenses and hit every part of the track he could.
Hopefully he got me four-wheels-dirty down in the middle section :)
actually you did get our front end, getting passed by the very fast "cheater" (and I say that with jealousy) 325i with the 5lug swap and M3 brakes....

Fiance and I were your flaggers at station 8 all weekend (drivers left just after you go under the bridge).
Was a good race! Glad that the drivers who got spat out of the Carousel were all ok.

How did the Porsche 928 do? (number 929..)
That 928 was FAST in a straight line. It looked like it handled well too. I think the drivers did not quite "get" some parts of the track.
Thank You Apexcarver! That is the scariest part of the track! You have no idea what is happening on the other side of that hill.
