The transmission in the truck is having fits with it's 2-3 and 4-3 synchros. I'm having to double clutch when I should be granny shifting. So as the title says, anyone here had to rebuild one and know what all it entails or has any advise to offer?

Mine was causing me all sorts of grief due to a seized up pilot bearing. Also, you have the correct lube for the 3 piece synchros in it?
Yeah when I got it I changed over to Penzoil Syntech which was on the approved list for the trans. Who knows how many miles it had on when I got it though and what type of abuse it endured before I got it.
I also have a new pilot bearing in when I swapped from the auto to manual and greased it up pretty good so I don't think that's the issue here.
