I will be traveling up to Boston for a week of training. Anyone need help in the evenings? 7/18 thru 7/22.

Indeed, that is a very generous offer. Personally, I am attempting to preserve the remainder of my sanity by not opening my toolbox for at least another week or two.
I could easily be talked into coming into the city for a drink and some bench racing.

You give me too much credit....I just hate TV and hate hotels more.
I am up for bench racing also. Anything with people and a good time, count me in!
Wow Andy is coming to town! It's like Christmas!
I'm only 20-25 mins north of the city (Peabody). I'm a little embarrassed to let you see our $2010 vehicle though. We'll have to get a lot done this week!
Do you have a car? Dave could pick you up...yeah I just volunteered him for that. haha
Email me at rf14dmb at hotmail.com and I'll get you my cell #. I would hate for you to be bored while in Boston!

I am staying in Cambridge and I do have a car. Although I like site seeing if anyone wants to give me a ride.

I really do not know boston that well, but am certain there is a decent bar nearby whatever hotel you are staying at. I can make free time whenever I choose, so any date & time would be fine with me.
Any other locals up for an "only 2 months left!" bullE36 M3 session?

Let me know which day next week works best for you. You and Andy can come to my house and laugh at me while I work.

You'll take route 1 north out of the city and I'm 5 minutes off the highway.

That sounds good to me if that works for everyone. I am free every night (though tuesday is the worst) so someone else pick a date.
Also, I could play chauffeur if needed since cambridge is basically on the way to peabody for me...
Sunday through Wednesday. I will bring work clothes. Thursday I am going to bust a move west.
TB, I am at the Charles at One Bennett. No idea where it is yet. That's Sundays problem
Andy, you are very welcome. I enjoyed the stories about challenges past.
Mrs. Miatame is a wonderful hostess and I thank her for her hospitality.
Sadly, now several of you know all too well that I am not a particularly adept mechanic. I wish I could have been more helpful.
I even managed to do a (very) little work on my car, and that is a fairly big deal for me. Thanks to everyone for the help, advice and tools.

I realize that this actually applies to me and still consider it a major understatement.
now what's the FMV on Andy Nelson help?
nice to meet you TB, glad we could help you with some tools, thanks again Andy for the help, ideas, and stories. hope we made your stay a little more interesting
Gah! Andy, this would have been an awesome opportunity for me to show you the same hospitality your family showed me when I visited you! I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner.
Sweet! No real challenge projects going right now but I'd love to hang out again if you have time. Take you out for a beer? Don't know if you still have my cell, 267-981-3936.
You'll need to log in to post.
