Rotor-shaped RX-7 hubcaps! (or are they actual wheels?) I reckon these are neat-o, and if I had a 1st gen, I'd try to track down a set.
Photo was taken at a Mercedes dealer in Germany, btw.
Those are wheels, not hub caps. They are highly sought after by many in the rotary world, but not me I think they look goofy.
Alloy wheels, not hubcaps. 4x110 bolt pattern, 13" rim. Used on 1st Gen's in Japan and Europe. Really rare in the states but easy to find overseas (even in South America).
Those are pretty cool, they look heavy though. If I had to have a set of goofy, heavy, OEM wheels I'd have those off-centre holed CRX Si wheels.

I was asking the same question. I wouldn't mind a set of those wheels.....don't think they would see much road time but I'd rock a set occasionally.
I have never in my whole life thought "Man, I wish someone would spray a little water on my headlights."
When do you use them?
Around here they get used in the winter, when the road salt and grime has put that gray film over everything, including the headlights.
Paint matching FTL! At least its not as bad as the wagon in the background-sheesh not even the same color!
I kid, I know the wagon is a cop car/ambulance. Cool wheels.
Actually the wheels are bare/clearcoated aluminum. It just happens to be a silver car and bad lighting.

Later Canadian Rx-7s had them too - my '85 did.

Road... salt? But wouldn't that cause everything to rust out? Out here we just use cinders.
