I decline to watch when the title is incorrect. That is a 3.8S, not a Mk2.
I watched it and I'm kinda torn. Seems like they kept to much of the XJ40 in it. I was thinking that that really just made it a modern car with body mods. Then I realized that's pretty much Darth Nader. That prompted a lot of soul searching about how I judge cars.

That's my thought too. Without knowing more about the car, I'm leaning towards the conclusion that they just cut the body off the floor of a modern XJR and plopped the body of the old Jag on top of it. The interior is identical to my 01 XJR aside from the color and headliner, there's a lot under the hood that is identical to mine that you would not need for an engine swap, etc. I still really like it, though I would prefer the older interior and older style wheels. It also makes me want to go rip the exhaust off my car.
