'88-'91 Civic/CRX's can have some wicked torque steer. I've wondered if adding an intermediate shaft on the long shaft side ala the Civic wagon or Integra, might help reduce that by somewhat equalizing the moments around the two half shafts. Anyone try this? It might take a custom half shaft from the intermediate shaft to the hub, but the intermediate shaft itself could be pirated from the previously mentioned Integra or Civic wagon. ??

Some have done it.

More details, pleez. Does it work? Any links to people who have done it? Anything? BTW, you don't happen to have any lightweight wheels for sale, do you?

JDM ZC transmission uses intermediate shaft and offers some fun D series gearing. Mounting the Int shaft up is tricky though without ZC block if I remember right.

Again, can you provide any more information? My block has the same bolt holes that my old Civic wagon had, which makes sense since they had the same engine. It looked to me like the intermediate shaft and it's support bearing would bolt right on. I'm just not sure about the half shaft, as it may need to be a different length than on the wagon.

I think the block needs to be tapped to bolt the intermediate shaft on. From there, I would assume it uses the same axle for the driver's side as is normally used on the passenger side.

What intermediate shaft and bearing support do they use? Like I said, the wagon parts would bolt right on to the si block.
