I did my second rally x this weekend, and was strongly encouraged to put a skid pad on the car. It is an 05 mustang gt. I don't have any welding skills (yet), and have been told everything from plastic, aluminum and diamond plate. From what I have seen so far, there is only one venue where it's an absolute must, but it would be nice to have it at the others.
So, just fab it up and bolt/screw it in? Plastic is obviously easier to use, but I am open to ideas and tips. Perhaps this should be in the build thread?
