I've been trying to find a discussion of this but have failed to do so. Anyone know the brand/model of those wheels the Mazda3s used? I only saw the one incident but I gather from the commentary that both cars went out the same way - at the bottom of the corkscrew, outside front wheel sheared the spokes...
They are some sort of OZ wheel, dont know what model though
pics of the wheel? At first sound it seems to me that they'd be Either Superleggeras, or possibly Allegritas. I don't know too many of OZ's designs that would shear off.....
Been trying to find something but as far as google is concerned, it seems to have never happened. It was a little crazy seeing that wheel go rolling down the hill. At first I thought it was just a tire that went flat and came off but then you could see little nubs of spokes left on the rim inside.
