She did nothing wrong. On a track that small there's going to be contact. He could have expected it and continued with his night. Instead getting bumped by a girl hurt his ego, he parked the car and had a tantrum.
I only saw the first race, I went to Stafford and it was the most fun I had as a fan in a while. Everyone obviously had their favorites but once Coby got up front the whole place started going crazy. Having a top local guy in to see how they compare to the pros is probably the smartest thing they did with the series.
One thing that CBS could do better is get some mics setup to capture fan reaction. I suspected that the Stafford crowd was going crazy when Coby was showing his abilities, but you would not know if from the TV broadcast, as there was almost no crowd noise at all.
Watching Deegan's Youtube channel of the Slinger event was really cool (thanks for the heads up, mikeatrpi!), except for the one moronic idiot at Slinger who yelled "get back in the kitchen" to her when she was introduced. Really? Is that even still a thing that female drivers have to contend with anymore? As a Wisconsinite, I'm embarassed ...
Regardless, I'm looking forward to this weekend's finale!
