Are those Cavalier headlights?

Also looks like the engine's close to a foot too tall for the hood he made...

Stealth tail lights. The work is impressive to be honest.

It would be nice with a sensible engine that fits under the hood, but it will look really silly and probably not handle too well with that huge lump sticking out like a hot rod caricature.

Do they even make an engine that will fit under that hood? On second thought a boxer engine might.

Titled as an RX-7 - I bet it's supposed to have a rotary.

There's gotta be a small V6 that can fit in there. Worse case scenario, you make it a BEC.

Okay, newly identified pet peeve: Labeling anything that was done before you got the car as "factory".

Sits on the factory frame? Factory from what? From what I could see of the chassis, the nose looks like an old Alston tubeframe/strut drag chassis setup.

Yeah I was wondering what kind of obscure track car this was based on if that frame is "factory..."

i don't know if it's an Alston front clip, but it definitely looks drag oriented... there really isn't any lateral support to take the side loads at the top of the struts from taking a turn in anger.
