Back in December, TEN announced that they were closing 19 of their 21 automotive magazines. I immediately went out and picked up a copy of Car Craft.
But, magazines run a couple of months out, and is there a final, goodbye edition issue on the newsstands? Or did I miss the boat?
Be pretty crappy to just shutter some magazines that have decades of history without at least some sort of sendoff.
I'm really going to miss actual paper copies of my favorite rags.
I subscribe to Car Craft and Super Street and was shocked when I got a Feb. 2020 issue. I hope they do a "send off" issue but I kind of doubt it- I haven't gotten anything for March 2020. I too prefer a paper magazine- I look at screens all day at work and already spend too much time on my phone. Having something different to stare at while I'm in the study is refreshing.
AFAIK Automobile is gone. I have what I think is the last issue, but there's no mention of it being the end. I was going to keep it with my copy of issue 1.
