hmmm... that sounds even cheaper than having two compleatly seperate production lines and production designs for the same car.

well, at the moment Americans want small cars.. and not the small cars of yesterday, but small cars of substance.. expensive small cars that pack luxury, style, performance, and even fuel economy into a smaller chassis.

Hopefull we will finally be over the Bigger = more expensive

Mondeo, eh? Nice car... hopefully it's not dumbed down for Americans too much. I've heard the Fiesta is slated for US production... that'd get my money.

Hopefully they'd bring the new Focus RS to the States. I want one of those really bad.

I'd love to have either a Focus RS, Focus ST, or Fiesta ST for me and a diesel Mondeo wagon for my wife.

Although, unless the U.S. refineries are reconfigured to optimize diesel production, I might be better off with that 2.3 litre gasoline engine in the Mondeo.
