Yes. We are the type of people who will tell you everything we know whether you ask or not. No fun to be cornered with us at parties.

That is because the search function on this site was broken for so long.
I'll agree. The community on the site is very rare for a bunch of idiots on the internet. we've all been known to squabble, but we'll get you the right answer to very obscure questions.
edit for proof: someone here can answer what this light is from. probably without cheating
And the same questions do get asked a lot, but there isn't any eyerolling and people usually can quickly give you a link to a recent thread that was last talked about and people generally keep the conversation going.
And even if you are an old timer, feel free to ask. None of us know everything about everything. Well, most of us don't.
Prime example: I build pro-touring cars. But have to ask questions when the daily driven Japanese stuff breaks. Or when I'm fixing the house.
Hell, I learned more from others asking questions here than i did in all schooling combined.

This is embarrassingly accurate.
So then: How do I get the dog smell out of Dad's truck. Cloth interior. I have shampooed and scrubbed. Smells better. But still musty.
Pull the entire seat and with the garden hose, soak the entire seat. I'm talking tons of water. You'll be amazed, water doesn't hurt car seats.
If you want, you can use a shop vac to pull some of the water out.
With a scrub bush like you might use to clean a bathtub, brush the seat. I like to brush in a cleaner called Tough Stuff that can be found in the auto dept of Walmart and elsewhere.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
If the carpets are salvageable, you can pull the entire carpet out of the car and clean in similar fashion.
If too far gone on either then junkyard seat and/or aftermarket carpet. (switch to rubber floor)
The real bugger is the headliner for holding smoke smell but that is replaceable as well
In reply to trucke:
I heard Borax dissolved in hot water gets rid of musty/moldy smells.
In the same vein, how do you get gum out of automobile carpet? I must of picked it up with my shoe in a parking lot and it stuck to the carpet the one place my feet don't rest on the Weather Tech mats...
Thanks guys!
Rats, now I need to buy a torx socket to pull the seats. I've got the right brush. Once the seats are out, pulling the carpet will be easy. I've pressure washed carpets are they've been pulled out and that works very well.
Gum? Try ice or better yet, dry ice. Wear gloves. The cold keeps the gum together for removal. Anything chemical or heat will get messy.
Some grocery stores carry dry ice.
Okay guys, here goes.
Do you think this would make a good $2016 Challenge candidate ?
It has DISK Brakes.
And a lightweight Fiberglass body . . . .

Trucks are supposed to smell like dogs, aren't they?
