What's wrong with looking at a car when its parked? I like to see the lines of a car so I can tell what it looks like. In the past some magazines would give you a stationary front view, a back view and a sideview above the car's specs. I know I'm in the minority but for the life of me I can't understand why its necessary to make a car look like its in motion. I mean, its a car. We know. It runs. It can go fast. Duplicating this in a photo seems wasted. Its a neat effect but for us to do sure, but it gets old opening up magazines and seeing them "try too hard" as you say.

Granted, most of my cars look so bad I wish they were blurry all the time.

Wow! I have not seen too many Lotus Elans around here... I own a 1991 Isuzu Impulse, which shares the same motor as the Elan... Great Pictures!!!

This is by far the best picture I have of my car (which I, of course, didn't actually take myself). It's not so much artsy as it is one of those old "What's wrong with this picture?" deals.
