That's right, all my cars (including my new DD) were built BEFORE the turn of the century.
A big shout-out and thanks to njansenv on this board -- he went above and beyond to accomodate the sale of his 98 M3 sedan to me. Lots of work on his end to make it happen, culminating in an extra trip to pick up snow tires and wheels I had purchased in Toronto. The GRM spirit is alive and well north of the border.
I'll post pics, but not until I have one of me driving it on a track or autox course.

I haven't really thought about it, but I've never owned a vehicle built in the same decade that I bought it.
I've never owned a car newer than 1993...

My wife has a 2001, but other than that I've always owned cars at least 10 years older than the current year. God for you! It's way cheaper this way and you really don't sacrifice much.

I tried that for fun. The average for me is 1987. Getting rid of the 70 Catalina sure brought the average up.
1989 is my average... and two of my cars are built in the 90s.. the fiat is holding them back

Newest car I ever bought was my 97 Dakota, and it was 2 when I got it.
Let's try this...
1982 Pontiac 6000LE, 1995 Mercury Tracer, 1983 BMW 320i, 1995 Saturn SC2, 1990 Miata, 1996 Saturn SL2, 1991 Honda Civic wagon, 1991 Mazda B2200, 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan, 1987 Toyota MR2, 1996 Saturn SL2 (again), 1989 Honda Civic wagon RT4WD, 1991 Miata, 1994 Saturn SW2.
Averages out to 1991 - which is funny considering I've owned three 1991 vehicles. :)
Newest - as in age - car I've ever owned was my 95 Tracer, which I bought in late 95 as an ex program car. Next newest was my SC2, which was 4 years old when I bought it in 99. It just gets older from there.
