According to my tire shop they will not sell Generals anymore as they have been having issues with balance and keeping them balanced. They are working with General to try and figure it out but so far no resolution. They have had to replace more than a couple sets I was told. I am wondering if it is a problem with a very specific size as I was told they were all on fords.
I've been using Cooper ATWs for a year now, they've handled all demands (a light winter and some forest roads).
The AT3s are incredibly well rated, and the ATWs are the snow rated version of those.
I'd highly recommend either.
I'm another happy Cooper AT3 user.. got them on my Sequoia. Not loud, grips well in the rain. Fine for light off road use.
