The Buses are fetching stupid money. Must say his wares look to be in better shape than most of the hordes I have seen in the past.
based on the map it looks like this is actually closer to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Just posted on Atlanta CL... because Atlanta.
I wonder if Mike Wolfe knows about this?

That drag beetle looks fun
It looks like the chances of survival for a lot of them would have been better if he gave up 5 years ago.
Though I've always wanted a bug......
I assumed from the way the ad was written that he was liquidating a junkyard, not necessarily a horde-stash of vehicles that were planned "one-day" restorations.

These kind of pseudo-junkyard hoards are weird because they're all sitting rotting, but unlike a proper junkyard, they're all basically complete. Those cars should've been picked over from 20 years of shoppers and word of mouth, but I can almost see the typical crusty grumpy hoarder guy that wants too much for everything and never actually sells parts, so it just ends up an odd collection.

If you really insist on starting with a rough one, a bug is probably one of the easiest classic car resto jobs. Which is still an expensive pain in the ass when solid drivers (assuming you don't want oval or split window) can still be had for mid 4 digit numbers, low 4s if you're ok with 69+.
