We're about to send the August issue to press, and again there's some extra stuff in there aimed at the message board crowd:
-
How to make an Alfa Spider go 230+ mph at Bonneville--plus a rundown of the event's class structure.
-
Turning an old BBQ grille into a pit cart.
-
Fiat 124 Spider buyer guide.
-
Nissan 350Z buyer guide.
-
Does refilling a shock absorber with thicker oil actually do anything?
-
ChumpCar vs. LeMons.
-
E36-chassis BMW M3 that was built piece by piece.
-
First-time DIY: cylinder head replacement.
-
One Lap of America exploits.
And, of course, the "subscribe now" plug: https://secure.ablesoftsolutions.com/pdmg/SecurePages/NewSub.aspx?pi=grm
Thanks.

DIY 911 A/C upgrade?
We're quick, but not that quick. That story will appear in the mag, but not the August issue.
So...just in time for Autumn then?

And that's the cars (2) I'm the most glad are gone. My 78 on the other hand is a completely different story altogether.
Whatever happened to the "practical porsche" issue? Did I miss that?

Will the digital versions be going up the same time they're going out in the mail? It may sound silly, but that would be a nice perk to the digital subscription for those that have to wait a lot longer for snail mail.

Digital versions go up on the mail date, for just that reason.

That was too subtle for me. Maybe neon colors would have caught my eye.

Should I have my August issue by now?
Sounds like they're landing right now.
