Anyone know what’s going on with Auto Europe in Birmingham MI? The main half of the show room is being converted to a Ducati dealership, the much smaller half still has some cars in it (Noble, Morgan, Evora) plus a handful of Land Rovers Defender’s outside. Are they diversifying or contracting?
I talked with Eric a few weeks ago at a Lotus club event. He said they're moving part of the business (restorations) to another building they bought nearby in a lower cost area. Since their current building is in the "high rent district" he figured he could lower his overhead a bit by renting out part of the showroom.

I was wondering the same thing! Seems like a tough choice, the "Auto Europe" display was always a head-turner on Woodward, hopefully the reduced footprint won't negatively affect the business.
Any idea where the new location will be? That was always one of my favorite Sunday drive destinations.
Glad to hear they're still going. They still have the workshop on Eaton street, maybee they are putting in a better showroom there too.
My old post has a circular canoe that links back to itself!!
Canoe has been sunk. If it resurfaces, please let us know.
