Right after I started racing I got talked into co-driving a Firehawk 944 at the Tampa IMSA Challenge event and while we were sitting around the paddock(we werent allowed to lounge in the transporter with the funded drivers) several groups of kids came through and got our autographs. It was the only time in 20+ years of racing that I was ever asked for an autograph by anyone other than the tire guy when I picked up my order.
