Hey,
I am looking at Noico adhesive backed sound damping mats:

Has anyone used these for auto apps, or otherwise? How well did they work?
Thanks,
Rog

I'm about to order Noico myself for my Fit. Reviews seem good. Basically the same butyl stuff as Dynamat but without the logo so much cheaper.
I know that some of the other alternatives (Fatmat, Peel n Seal) use asphalt instead of butyl and some people complain about a noxious smell with those products. But as far as I know Noico is butyl so it shouldn't have that issue.
I bought some a couple weeks ago for my Silverado, but no feedback yet. The Challenge car has been taking all my time /
This is the stuff I've bought for SanFord.

I haven't installed it yet, but my business partner also got some for his Mustang and liked the way it worked.
Hadn't heard of this one yet. Been using mastic from McMaster-Carr for years and it's cheaper, as well as very effective.
May try some of this though.
I'll preface this by saying I haven't personally done it.
I've heard and seen people using that Frost king peel and stick foil insulation. I suppose it depends upon what you're looking to spend vs what you're expecting from the results. It's not nearly as dense as some of the audio mat products so it won't dampen as well but if you're just looking for a reduction it's super cheap comparatively.
