This is a video by the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology FSAE team, I am not on the team (although I almost was) nor do I go to the school. My friend is their primary driver. It's his driving featured in the video. I'm not sure how they got permission to do this but it's awesome and I'm definitely jealous!

He said it was pretty scary to drive since there is no room for error and the road was very bumpy and gravelly, with no rubber on it.

Yeah, the marketing actually targets guys more than girls. All they would have to do is look up the nearly 4:1 ratio of guys to girls to figure it out.
The girls who do go their say "the odds are good but the goods are odd."
