The PO had the clutch replaced less than 50 miles ago and he said the day after it was replaced it continued to slip. I called the shop and asked exactly what they replaced and they stated they installed a new clutch disc, Pressure Plate, and TO Bearing. I have a friend that works at the local partshouse he got the clutch and verified that he inded ordered one for a Integra GSR. I'm kinda lost as this is the last thing I need to get repaired before i start driving it. I've bled it and that helped and adjusted it and that helped a little, but the when you start to depress the clutch pedal, the clutch is fully released at ~1 1/2" - 2" down. What gives? I see no damp spots so maybe the Slave or Master Cylinders are on there way out? Any input in a diagnosis is appreciated. It acts like its not fully releasing.
Who did the work?
Sounds like either it's adjusted very badly, or it was installed wrong.
a reputable shop here in town.
Probably an adjustment problem, then. I bet it was adjusted badly at first install, and now those 50 miles afterwards either
1) Glazed the clutch to the point that it's not generating enough friction
or:
2) those 50 miles have already toasted the clutch.
I saw a badly adjusted 6-puck clutch get worn down to absolutely nothing in less than 200 miles on a Honda before. It was readjusted after about 100 miles of that 200, and was still completely toast at 200 miles because of the previous damage.
I'm gonna try adjusting it in a little bit. The partshouse said they will replace it if the clutch is whats wrong. It only slips if you get on it hard. Hopefully an adjustment will do the trick. The PO didn't run it hard, and i've only done it 3-4 times tryin out vtec.

An adjustment may help, i'm just more worried about the consequences of it not fully engaging for 50 miles. That disc probably doesn't look too good.
The clutch rod was actually too long... With the slave bolted up, it was holding the clutch partially disengaged. I'm gonna drive it for a while and see how it holds up, it it starts to slip i'll exchange it for another from the partshouse under warranty.
