I signed up for the babe rally for the first time. It turns out I have a lot of friends interested in going. My first 15 cars were all suzukis, geo's and fireflys, so I have a soft spot for them. I think I may have found the perfect option. What do you think?

That car has been bought by 24 hours of lemons legend Speedycop, should hit the track this year.

FWIW that car would not be allowed on the BABE rally. No roof chops or major structural modifications. Unlike events like Lemons and the Challenge there is no Tech inspection on BABE so they can't be sure the car is safe if you start doing major structural modifications.
In reply to JThw8:
What is defined as a major structural modification?

Wouldn't the two hearse's and the limo that are already signed up be considered structural modifications? I don't think they came from the factory that way. This was apparently built by a guy who builds limos... It's a moot point anyway since the car is sold. I'm glad it's going to get used properly.

The major one is cutting off the roof, but anything which significantly alters the structural portion of the vehicle is subject to scrutiny.
Yes, I'm fully aware that means the Wartburg was outside of this rule.

The hearses and limos were built by professional companies which have to have their vehicles certified to be able to sell them. The Geo was not.
