Whatever you need to attach it to in order to hold the line where you want it. I don't clamp them down, but use the zip tie as a loose loop to prevent it from moving too far in some direction. Like a guy wire or muffler hanger. Upper control arm is a common anchor point. I never have to do this to street cars, but occasionally with a race car that has oversized rolling stock. Note that installing the line with a bit of a twist will predispose it to move in a certain direction when flexed, so you can also do that.

Ill have to put the car up in the air and get under it to play with it. I didn't bring stands just the jack to the track

Looking at the maps and IIRC, both of those areas have small sections that are only ever used when running the Grand Course. Not very long but are not used in any of the other configurations. So I would expect the pavement to be a bit rough compared to the rest of the track.

They get used a lot in the police training stuff I think, that being said yes they are rough
