Pacific raceways is bringing their 2 day enduro back on the second weekend of March. Last year was a hoot despite(or because of?) torrential rain and snow. They need a good showing to make it a regular event so bring your car and have some wheel to wheel fun. We were one of about 20 teams last year, and I think 11th of the 12 or so that finished.

From their website:

Roll-X Returns to Pacific Raceways (KENT, Wash)—Pacific Raceways’ legendary 2.25-mile, 10-turn road course will once again host a 16-hour endurance race for less-then legendary cars! The 2nd Annual Roll-X Enduro Race for $500 cars will take place March 9-10, 2013.

The objective is simple: finish in front of the competition at the end of the 16-hour race…and try not to roll your car! The 16-hour race takes place over two days – 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday. Each team must have at least 4 drivers. The maximum a driver can be in the car is 2 hours each day.

Cost to compete in the event is $350 per team plus $100 per individual driver. An early registration website will be set-up soon.

Cars that competed in last year’s race were ChumpCar racers, Lemons racers, and Hornet cars. A special call is going out this year for the Hornet racing crowd! Rules will be posted soon on our website. Cars that fit one of the race series noted above are welcome. Racers wanting to build a car for this event should consult the specifications for those race series as well.

A day prior to the March race, Pacific Raceways will be hosting a test and tune session for Roll-X racers. The Friday testing session will start at 9 a.m. Other details and pricing will be posted shortly.

I am bumping this thread to see if anyone is interested or planning to come out. If no one has raced at Pacific Raceways, its a fabulous 2.25 mile road course with lots of elevation changes. This is a chance to try a Chump or LeMons type race up in the Pacific Northwest for very little money. You need 4 drivers to pony up $200.00 each for which you will get 4 hours of seat time each over the weekend. The rules are very common sense and relaxed, and the organizers do a really good job. Last year about 20 cars showed up, and it is looking like a similar number this year. It would be nice to up the numbers a bit.

Not a canoe. I have no affiliation other than a desire to see this event go well and make way for another next year.
