If you're willing to set a reserve price of $12k for it, don't list it on FB for $20k.  If you want the space that much more than the money, just list it on FB for $14k and get rid of it.  If you really want $20k, then list it on BaT with a reserve at $17k+ and see what happens

No reserve.  BAT will bring all the money .  I've sold 5 vehicles on there with no reserve and had no issues.  In fact, they may not accept (or may defer) your auction if there is a reserve.  Bidding will be much more active on no-reserve auctions, and you'll get more watchers.

You want your listing to end before lunch on a Friday, if at all possible.

I'm surprised it took almost 24hrs.

One of the challenges of BAT is that the car is listed on their schedule, not yours.  Back from my eBay days, I realized that the time the auction ended was critical.  As others have said, you want it during the work week, and not on a weekend.  I would try to sell it on an enthusiast forum first, and if the offers aren't in-line, then you could always use BAT.  The saying for a while has been buy on Cars & Bids, sell on BAT, as Cars & Bids tends to bring lower prices.  Not sure if that's still true or not.

Good luck with the sale, that's a beautiful car!

I would set a reserve somewhere for safety, we see all the cars that sell for crazy money but nobody notices the ones that sell for ordinary or even low prices. I remember a few years ago a school was selling a homebuilt Lykan Hypersport replica on there for charity and it brought in some rather disappointing numbers.

Cars and Bids doesnt scrutinize their stuff as much as BaT does, its sort of like Sams Club vs Costco.  They are both similar, one definitely has more of a premium feel.

If this thing is legit worth $20k and you legit want $20k for it, set it up on Rennlist or Pelican Parts or one of those.  The buyers will appreciate that they do not have to pay a $1k premium, its still a private party transaction so cash is king, etc etc.

If your "reserve" is $15k, list it at that if you want it gone.
